THE PERSON BEHIND MYRMID TAX

EACFP® professional

Personal attention.
A nationwide reach.

A little about me.

I have called Ventura County home for decades while building my primary career in the biopharmaceutical industry. As an operations business process owner, I have worked across supply chain and quality roles. That experience has taught me to organize complex information carefully, look for practical solutions and focus on the next steps that matter.

I first earned the IRS Enrolled Agent credential in 2005. I have accumulated over four years of EA experience through two periods of practice, from 2005 through 2008 and again from 2025 to the present. I became a CFP® professional in 2026. My path into tax began with learning how to make more informed decisions about wage withholding, equity compensation and small-business activity.

Over time, referrals and questions from friends, family and colleagues broadened that work into a tax practice. Today, I help individuals and families who earn wages, professionals with more complex compensation packages, and self-employed small-business owners bring more order to their tax decisions. I hold a MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University, along with MS in Personal Financial Planning and Financial Analysis from the College for Financial Planning.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning through travel and new experiences. I have traveled to more than 60 countries, including Antarctica, and value the perspective that comes from encountering different cultures, planning the details of a trip, and continuing to learn about the world.

Let’s start a conversation

Professional credentials

Enrolled Agent

An Enrolled Agent is a tax professional authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS. EAs have unlimited representation rights, meaning they can represent any taxpayer on any tax matter before any IRS office.

EA status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS. Enrolled Agents must meet ethical standards and complete ongoing continuing education.

About the EA credential

CFP® professional

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional helps clients consider connected financial-planning areas such as cash flow, retirement, investments, insurance, estate considerations, and taxes. CFP® professionals meet CFP Board’s education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements.

At Myrmid Tax, I apply that perspective to tax preparation and year-round planning, connecting income, equity compensation, digital assets, and retirement contributions with your broader goals before decisions appear on a return.

BEFORE WE CONNECT

Good questions.
A clearer starting point.

Here are a few things you might be wondering before reaching out.

Can we work together if I live in another state?

Yes. Myrmid Tax offers virtual services across the United States. Tell me where you live and work so we can discuss the returns and support your situation requires.

What’s the difference between tax preparation and tax planning?

Tax preparation organizes and reports a tax year’s information on your return. Tax planning looks ahead at decisions and changes during the year, so we can discuss their potential tax implications before you file.

What documents should I gather for tax preparation?

Start with your prior-year return, W-2s, 1099s, and records supporting deductions or credits. If you’re self-employed, gather income and expense records and estimated payments. Stock-plan statements and digital-asset transaction histories may also be relevant. We’ll identify what else your situation needs.

Can you help with stock compensation or cryptocurrency?

These are areas of focus at Myrmid Tax. Share the types of stock benefits or digital-asset activity involved when you request a consultation. We’ll discuss the records, complexity, and services appropriate for your needs.

Should I upload tax documents with my consultation request?

No. The consultation form is for a brief introduction. Please leave out Social Security numbers, account numbers, and tax documents. We’ll arrange an appropriate way to exchange records after discussing your needs.

What happens after I request a consultation?

I’ll follow up using your preferred email or phone contact to learn more. We’ll discuss the scope of work, fees, timing, and next steps before you decide whether to move forward.
